Welcome to the Top End Medical Centre online!

A brand new architecturally designed family medical centre, with futuristic twenty first century technology installed and will be opening to the Darwin public on the 20th of December 2011.

This modern medical centre will be providing bulk-billing services to all clients.

The combined efforts of six local doctors, Dr Satbir Aulakh, Dr Marilou Capati, Dr Nolasco Jr Capati, Dr Aruna Liyanage, Dr Kris Piyadasa and Dr Sanjaya Muhandiram, who have had long term experience living and working as General Practitioners and hospital doctors in the Territory, identified the needs of the community and converged as a group to deliver quality, affordable and reliable health care all under the one roof.

As of March 2012, we would like to welcome our new Doctor, Dr Kothandaramasamy Sanjeevi to our experienced team.

The new medical centre will provide a range of services such as an in house Healthscope pathology collection centre, acute and chronic disease management and health care plans, mental health management and health care plans, travel medicine advice and vaccinations, corporate health checks (conditions apply), fitness to work assessments, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders health management and care plans, fitness to drive assessments, pre-employment and occupational health checks, antenatal management with GP shared care, vaccinations, minor surgical procedures, wart treatments, pap smears and women’s health checks, sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment, contraceptive advice and management e.g. implanon insertion/removal, asthma management, workers compensation medical management, diabetes risk assessment and medical management in conjunction with a diabetes educator, 45-49 year old health checks and 4 year old child health checks.

The Hon. Kon Vatskalis, Minister for Health, NT Government and the Federal MP for Solomon, Hon. Natasha Griggs have agreed that this is an important need for the Darwin Community and both have given their support for the venture.

Top End Medical Centre is conveniently located in the establishing Casuarina Health Precinct at 11 Vanderlin Drive, Casuarina, (the old Bunnings site) which comprises of Ian Marshall’s Amcal Max Pharmacy, a new Skin Cancer Care NT specialized skin cancer clinic, specialists doctors suits and day surgery.
